Job Description:

ALKE Environment & Energy GmbH is seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components for WWTPs and other infrastructural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Create and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including environmental engineers, electrical engineers, project managers and construction site staff
• Optimize existing designs for improved performance and cost-effectiveness
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and engineering reports
• Support construction process at site, for improvements and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a university
• Minimum of 8 years of professional engineering experience
• Experience in WWTP, WTP or desalination projects
• Good command of English
• Proficiency in modeling softwares
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering analysis tools
