• Leading import operations in line with business plan, budget and performance targets.
• Ensuring full compliance with customs laws and regulations together with customs brokers and consultants.
• Ensuring that all products has proper compliance documents (Health certificates, CE declarations, test reports etc.)
• Ensuring notification obligation to the authorities for packaging ,electrical and other wastes.
• Coordinating customs clearance operations with the team and customs brokers.
• Preparing monthly import costs reports and following up with Import Manager.
• Supporting pricing process through article level landed cost simulations
• Determining the improvement potentials within the department and being a bridge between the relevant stakeholders in Import and Logistics department.
• Improving the logistics systems with adapting new digital solutions in corporate with Logistics department.
• Import Team Leader reports to Import Manager.
Desired Skills and Specializations• Minimum 5 years experience in import operations
• Knowledge of Ministry applications and Import regulations
• University degree (4 year Bachelor’s degree)
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Good team player with strong communication skills
• Male candidates must have completed their military service.
