Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to play a vital role in driving our sales process and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical expertise and commercial acumen, enabling them to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs. This role involves active client engagement, managing the sales cycle, and delivering value-added services across the piping equipment industry.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for clients.

Analyze and understand client technical requirements and translate them into viable product solutions.

Prepare and present detailed technical and economic proposals directly to clients.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering proactive solutions and after-sales support.

Source quotes from suppliers and evaluate them against client needs, ensuring competitive and technically compliant offerings.

Create comprehensive comparison tables and analyses of technical and economic aspects to support client decision-making.

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotations through ERP systems and manage the sales process.

Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of piping equipment.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.

Products and Industry Focus:

This role focuses on piping equipment such as fittings, valves, and expansion joints used in pipeline applications across industries.

Desired Skills and Specializations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields preferred).

Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, valves, and related equipment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in using ERP systems and CRM platforms.

Fluent in English (advanced); proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

Experience in technical sales or a similar role is highly preferred.

Valid driver’s license and ability to actively drive to client sites, supplier locations, and project meetings.
