We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to play a vital role in driving our sales process and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical expertise and commercial acumen, enabling them to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs. This role involves active client engagement, managing the sales cycle, and delivering value-added services across the piping equipment industry.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for clients.
· Analyze and understand client technical requirements and translate them into viable product solutions.
· Prepare and present detailed technical and economic proposals directly to clients.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering proactive solutions and after-sales support.
· Source quotes from suppliers and evaluate them against client needs, ensuring competitive and technically compliant offerings.
· Create comprehensive comparison tables and analyses of technical and economic aspects to support client decision-making.
· Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotations through ERP systems and manage the sales process.
· Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of piping equipment.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.
Products and Industry Focus:
This role focuses on piping equipment such as fittings, valves, and expansion joints used in pipeline applications across industries.
Desired Skills and SpecializationsQualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields preferred).
· Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, valves, and related equipment.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Proficiency in using ERP systems and CRM platforms.
· Fluent in English (advanced); proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
· Experience in technical sales or a similar role is highly preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to actively drive to client sites, supplier locations, and project meetings.
